This qualification suits within a suite of ATHE L3 qualifications, which is called the International Access Programme (IAP). Each qualification has a credit value of 60. Learners may choose to study one or more of the qualifications in this suite. Extending the learning to more than one qualification will increase knowledge, understanding and the development of a range of study skills. It will also increase the total number of credits achieved so learners are more qualified to access higher education, higher level apprenticeships or employment. Learners can choose complimentary qualifications e.g. Diploma in Business with a Diploma in Small Business and Social Enterprise Start up or contrasting qualifications e.g. Diploma in Accounting with a Diploma in Law. The choice must be influenced by learner interests, abilities and career aspirations.

Aims of the Level 3 Diploma in English and Communications for Business
This qualification has been developed to conform to the requirements of the RQF, to meet the
requirements of higher education and employers and to meet the needs of learners.
it will improve their business communication skills using the English language, including those for whom English is a second language.
Each qualification has agreed rules of combination which indicates the number of credits to be

For the Level 3 Diploma in English and Communications for Business, points for each 15-credit unit achieved are as follows:
The UK tuition fee for the 2024-25 academic year is currently £9,250 per year. This is based on the UK Government’s cap.
The International tuition fee for the 2024-2025 academic year is £33,450 per year.
Please note that the International tuition fee is subject to annual increases in subsequent years of study, in line with B2B’s terms and conditions.
All International applicants to Undergraduate programmes are required to pay a deposit of £2000 against their first year’s tuition fee. This deposit is payable when you firmly accept an unconditional offer to study with us, and will be offset against your tuition fees when you join King’s.
If you choose the study abroad option with one of King’s partner universities, you will not be charged tuition fees by the host university (although some partners do charge a small administration fee for applying). King’s will continue to invoice for a proportion of King’s tuition fees. You should also budget to pay for the associated subsistence costs, such as travel, visas, accommodation and food as well as any vaccination/immunisations required by the country to which you are travelling. For the Year in Industry, King’s will invoice students for a proportion of King’s standard tuition fees. At present these are as follows but may be subject to change: • Home and EU students working for a full academic year will receive an invoice for £1,350 for King’s tuition fees for the year. • Overseas students working for a full academic year will receive an invoice for one third of the King’s tuition fees for the year
